The Spirit of Christmas is a character in Blackadder's Christmas Carol, portrayed by Robbie Coltrane.
He visits Ebenezer Blackadder whilst he is sleeping and Blackadder offers him a drink. He has the power of showing people their ancestors actions in the past and their descendants actions in the future.
However showing Ebenezer the actions of his ancestors and later his descendant in the far future convinces him that being bad was better than how nice he is on a daily basis, causing Ebenezer the next day to start acting more like a Blackadder.
